Expired on: Wed, Dec 23rd, 2015I have personal offer get 4000 wus $20 on food or snacks. I spent total $23, $21 pretax, didn't use any coupon.
My base points is 210.
I purchased these items:
eggs
milk
box of chocolate
box of digestive biscuit.
Not sure why I didn't get 4000 points. Is fancy chocolate don't count as snack?
Can any SDM experts give me an idea which item doesn't qualify? I am thinking about calling head office later to see if they can add the points for me.

Of course call. Even if the chocolates do not qualify you are not psychic so how would you know? Lol. It's more likely that if it's a seasonal item the sku isn't tied to the food and snacks promo code in the system.

The chocolates might be classified as candy. Sometimes they have offers for candy and snacks and others like yours are for food and snacks. I wish they would make it easier to understand. You could call customer service and see if they can add them for you.

Eggs and Milk count, based on http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/403393-...ualify-canada/
I had food/snack offer before and didn't get the bonus points. I emailed them because the two times I called Shoppers in the past, it wasn't pleasant experience and I don't like being on hold for too long.
In my email, I gave them info: My name, Store name, date, what i bought with the pretax total based on the receipt and the offer I got. I emailed from the email address I listed with shoppers. They auto reply that they got my email and then later emailed the next day saying they added my points
personally - chocolate is "food" to me.. just "junk" food. I think if its edible, it should be considered as food Lol.

In SK, milk can't be used toward any discounts - even though it's really a 'food'.

I think milk count as food in ON and BC (few people had confirmed that in another thread). Maybe there's a glitch in the system.

Chocolate fits in both food & snack and candy & snack. I think its the milk or digestive biscuits. I've had this problem with biscuits due to where they were displayed. Was the biscuits in the baby or natural health section of the store. Call the 1-800# with your complaint.

I get this offer often. There have been a lot of glitches with the food/snack offer recently - as told to me by Optimum HQ. So I suggest to call also. If the problem is the milk, I hope you get a sympathetic rep -- it is unfair how they expect us to know all the exemptions.
Re: chocolate - I bought a chocolate-covered marshmallow snowman as part of the food/snack offer and asked the cashier to check that the promo showed up, otherwise I would grab something else. She said she thought it should work - and it did. Surprised me, as I think of it as candy. Did this a second time and it worked again.
Good luck - let us know how it goes

It's Peak Frean's biscuit...right beside all the chocolate chip cookies, Ritz, Triscuit ect...
I loaded coupon before I went out, didn't get the bonus points, check my offer after and it's still sitting in my account.
I'll contact them during business hours and will update everyone.
