Anybody Ever Have Packages Missing From the Mailbox?

I've had two packages go missing in the last month. This morning I realized that my locked box has marks on it from where it's been forced open. I've resorted to putting a sign on my box saying "no parcels, leave card". I've also contacted the company who sent me the stuff. They were nice enough to agree to resend it. I'm worried it's going to happen again. Any comments?

We get home delivery, and have never had problems, even when packages were left on the doorstep.

Is yours a community mailbox from Canada Post, or inside an apartment, etc.?

If the former, you should be contacting CP.

It's in a block of boxes in an apartment building. I'll talk to the landlord about it. According to CP, I should report the theft to the local police.

I would do that as well as getting stuff held at the post office perhaps? My green mailbox was hit by the snowplow 2 weeks ago and I have yet to see it repaired. In the meantime I worry cause tax receipts are coming etc.

Well, it turns out that others in this building are having the same problem. We're going to talk to the landlord when he's back in town.
