I will be honest..I am struggling to aquire the 100 bars of soap. For anyone that has some spares to contribute. Reguleonis and I purchased without coupons all the toothbrushes today and previously I contributed all 100 shaving creams.
I also know rikas hardest challenge is to find cheap backpacks. Last year she found them in a dollarstore. So if anyone goes to them and spots them please let her know..and me for mine lol

I'll go and raid my closet for some soap. I have a backpack full of 40 pairs of socks that me and rewogd are trying to make arrangements to get them to Rika. I'll toss the soap in the backpack too.

I threw in a half dozen bars of soap (Dove of course!). If I can get to the store this week I'll bring along my coupons and get some more, it depends on my kids, the earliest I can probably go is Thursday.

I wonder if it's worth it to try thrift shops for the backpacks. Some of the smaller shops may give you a good deal if you tell them what you are up to.
If only I had known, I sent five good condition backpacks to the thrift shops in the middle of October. Really wish I had something to give you, but it's just not something that can happen this year.

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.... today I am pulling all the donations together and counting them so I can update the post... everything is difficult to move around as the boxes are piled up to save space... see photos on my personal page. anyway today it all gets sorted properly back in to the boxes so that I can count again and bring my totals up to date. the most important items I need are the UNDERWEAR and winter gear like hats gloves scarves. Wool or winter socks would be great too.

Rika,
The Dollarama has backpacks for $2 at West Edmonton Mall, there were tonnes of them so maybe they just put them out? Might be worthwhile to see if the location near you has them out.
I will go through my stockpile this weekend, I am sure I have some Dove soap and toothbushes to donate and possibly some gloves and hats.

walmart southcommon had backpacks on clearance for cheap, but they were kids prints.

I picked up one at Staples this past week, in the $5 range, I think it was regular around $20 - I don't know exactly, Rika can check, the tags were still on it when she picked it up. I'd pick up more but after the 40 pairs of socks and having worked a whole nine hours in a 2 1/2 month period, well, cash is low.
Out or curiosity though, what is the big deal with Nexxus coupons? Do they give a big overage at Walmart or something??? If they do I have a couple of those I can pass onto someone to use if they want to put the overage towards a backpack.

I think the big deal on Nexxus is just that you can get the trial size for free... I might be wrong but someone will correct if so. I like the Dollorama backpacks if they are the same ones as last year it is a great deal. Will hope to get there tomorrow and check it out GREAT TIPS LADIES THANK YOU
