Great thanks, I'm so hoping for an email....

Evening all,
Dh called payroll and they said he needs to enter his own hours not the principal so he did that today, thankfully, the hours just need to be approved. DH also has enrolled for a specialized 2 day training in June which could open many doors.
I don't know if anyone has any upcoming projects, Home depot currently has save 15% off exterior doors & windows PLUS don't pay for 18 months if over $299. thought I would share as some have mentioned they have been putting off replacing some windows. Given the 18 month timeframe it's much easier to pay off.
Speaking of this sale, I'm inclined to order the new window for the dinning room.
Also RONA has 15% off tomorrow (Saturday) only. I'm thinking if we have time running out to get my ballusters BUT cannot imagine dh being up to going there given the insulation sheeting must be completed and installed this weekend....time will tell as they say.
My new bedroom window has arrived and ready for pickup that was certainly a quick turnaround as it was only ordered last Saturday.
Wishing everyone a great evening and weekend.
Good Morning Everyone,
Looks nice, bright and sunny out but they say it is going to be cold today, kind of sucks I have a ton of garbage to get out but will wait on a nicer day.
I am trying to find some ambition, I know it will come but just having emotional issues lately. I am working my hardest to keep with my glass half full outlook on life but lately it just seems like every time I turn around there is a new "issue" I have to deal with. It is not helping that I feel like no one else cares, there seems to be a lot of talk and I am the only one taking action.
As well it seems like $$$$ are flying out the door, as much as I try to budget and keep a cap on everything it seems like every time I turn around more $$$ are needed for this or that.
Although on a good note I did just get a fairly nice size credit on our internet. Twice in the last week we have been without internet, the first time was almost 8 hours the second was I believe 3 hours. I called and ask them "how I was supposed to pay them when they keep inhibiting my ability to work and make money." At first the guy just keep apologizing until I said "no seriously I have lost X numbers of working hours, which means no pay which means I cannot pay my bills and as the one effecting my ability to pay my bills, the way I see it you should be the ones not paid" he then agreed and gave me the credit. I might have also mentioned I am feeling the need to call their competition as not once in the last week has their service gone down and I would have been able to work and make money.
Alright maybe another cup of tea will help. Have a great day everyone.

-daughter just called me she went into work for 3 hours today (sat) -people say to her ohhh why are you going in on a weekend -well the office is quiet and she would rather not stay til 7.00 or 8.00 some nights as she is pregnant and tired now -she just found out about the one day redemption and she is going to get 2 pkgs of diapers along with eveyday items (good for her)
-chilly here feels like winter still -doing laundry today when its cheap on the hydro
Reminder that P&G Brandsampler coupons expire on Monday so if you are out this weekend stocking up on groceries and personal care items, check your coupons for deals.
Happen to tear off a Special K Nourish cereal coupon at the coupon board yesterday and applied it to a $3.99 box at Fortino's yesterday during an evening grocery run. The coupon board was down this morning so will check back later to see if any new coupons have been posted.
Did a $10 redemption at Shoppers yesterday with $2.15 OOP. Keen to see if I can bump up my PC Plus balance to do another points exchange. @SassyAshley -I'm noticing my money is going like a sieve this week too. Today I realized I need to do a new pair of cheap curtains with drapery lining as there will be streetlights put in next week and my current curtains won't block the lights out adequately. Fortunately I have leftover lining for one panel so I just need to find cheery and cheap fabric plus enough lining for second panel. Hope to get most or all of sewing done later today.
ciel -it wasn't shoppers that had the biotene for 9.99 in this flyer -it was fortinos -just checked cause I would have went back to the store for sure -thanks I am glad to have gotten my biotene under the redemption for sure
-supper delissio pizza -real easy
-just ordered a 50.00 esso gift card(6,500 points) from aeroplan (most of the points came from surveys and a bit of home hardware shopping too)mind you last time I ordered a giftcard from aeroplan was 4 years ago (same giftcard) hey 50.00 more in our bank account right -lol
-mind you I looked to see what I could get with my airmiles and not much may keep going on that front (I don't shop rexall, metro or lcbo that much I guess)-thanks ceil for the article about airmiles I was able to hit a requested email from them seeing if any of my airmiles expire this dec 2016 and they don't
Had a great post and lost it, bleh.
Anyway today was a good shopping day, PM'ed at No Frills cause I was dropping DH and Logan at the GO train. Buses are bit sporadic on the weekend and we are still embracing this 1 car life. I was pleased that either No Frills did away with the need for a supervisor to price match or I was checked out by a supervisor. Spent 40.00 in points and earned 8000 more. Then I went to Panera for my free tea, all month I have a daily hot drink. Walked over to winners and picked up some drinking glasses on sale for 5.00 for 4 of them. They are half the size of the ones we have now and the kids are always filling the big ones and wasting milk or juice.
EarlIer in the day I was able to get 10 of the LED bulbs, I was sure they would have all been gone by now. I also picked up a umbrella style clothesline. I have wanted one for ages but DH was never a fan, now he is so on board with saving that he finally conceded and it's my b day next week so this was what I asked for anyway. I can't wait to get it up but I just realized I forgot to buy clothespins.
Thank you for the birthday wishes, everyone!
@SassyAshley : I'm glad you stood your ground. I think these telecommunications businesses are a necessary evil nowadays. Good for you!
I almost went to CT today and decided not to bother as I figured I had no chance and didn't want to waste effort going through the entire mall on the off chance that they might have something left in early afternoon. I'm undecided if I want to chance a visit tomorrow afternoon, on the last day of the sale.
On the bright side, I noticed GT had Drano on sale for $2.98. So much for CT's $3 limited time sale!
Hello folks!
Just short note. DH's oncologist appointment went well. No major tweaking of meds for the next round of chemo. We are half way through the cycle of treatment before they will do another CT scan to see if these d@"=m drugs are giving this cancer the old "one-two!"
Had a great visit with two long-time (we're talking 40 year) friends. We watched the Blue Jays sadly lose and had some great munchies.
Today I got a lot accomplished after they left. DH was fine with my going to do some grocery shopping. He usually likes to come but he wasn't feeling very energetic and wanted to watch the Masters Golf Tournament.
They were having a major clearance at RCSS and I got 7 bottles of Jergens lotion marked down to .94 for free as I had 7 $1.00 off coupons. I am going to make up some mother's day donations for the Women's Shelter and our church outreach.
Also, they had a couple of really pretty table runners mated down to $3.94 with 30% off.
I also picked up a couple of mugs and soup mugs which match. I am hoping to put together a "Kitchen Themed" gift basket for a wedding shower that I will be going to. The mugs were .77 each.
I also found some nice blue bowls for us to use as I am trying to make life easier by using our dish washer but we run out of dishes before it gets full. They were marked down to 2 in a box for $1.94 with 30% off. So about .72 apiece.
I also got the Scrubbing Bubbles for free and I think I can claim $3 from Checkout51.
Got the grandparent a long-sleeved indie which should fit her in the fall for $3.94.
Got extra points for the cleaning product and some dip that DH LOVES.
Cashed some points to cut the cost down.
We are almost exclusively using our PC MC these days and I am happy with getting the money back in groceries if we remember to price match and use what meagre coups that are useful to us.
Well, what was to be short turned into long.
Goodnight friends.
Oh, Saundyl, I did a double-take at Food Basics today as a woman was coming out who looked just like you in your picture. I almost thought it might be you but that would be a check of a long trek for you.
Crochet lady- so glad you will be able to get to see the specialist next month!
Good Morning Everyone, @avoncallingu Great Deals
@sweet sparrow That was the point I was trying to get across to our internet provider, I understand things happen, we just had to delay a project at work over technical issues but an outage twice in a week and one last over 8 hours really?????? That is it so many people now work remotely and rely on being able to connect remotely. They really are effecting people's livelihood.
I slept in today as I barely slept last night. Got into a fight with Mom yesterday before she left for work, I stayed up until she got home to try to talk to her which was pointless, she basically agreed with what I said but said she is treating everyone the way she is treating me so whatever. Thinking it might be a good thing I am out of town for 3 days this week, I was going to try to change things around to be home more but think based on yesterday it is better to be away. But I guess the good new is maybe she thought about it as she seem to be in a different mood when I went in her room this morning to get her laundry basket.
Laundry is started and should be done shortly. I had big plans for today but I have a feeling someone will not work with me and I am done fighting and finding it hard to care anymore to be honest. I am trying to work her because she keeps saying how she is alone in everything and never gets any help but to get help you have to give something in return. So if she just wants to sit here and hate her life have fun, I have work I can get done.
I know I need to turn this around for me but I have to figure out what steps I will need to take. But honestly right now I think it is going to come down to two people living in a house and that is it. I have tried working with her and helping her but until her moods changes we will not get anywhere and I don't think I can keep trying.
Well I have a crochet Teddy Bear calling my name as he would like some ears, have a great day everyone.

everyone is asleep , and I am working on my points. I should be able to cash out today. I am saving for a new part for my central vac unit. it will help.
