Thread: Mini-Dove Brag

So about two months ago I picked up these Save 2 dollars WYUB two DIFFERENT Dove products... and I thought they would be useless... b/c I haven't seen really cheap prices on Dove in the same stores ever. So then I realized I could price match... but I waited and waited and waited.
Last night I was looking at the Zellers Friday-only flyer and I saw that 2 bars of Dove was on for 1.50 and the Dove deodorant was on for 2.50...
So I got:
3 Dove bar soap pack @ 1.50 (reg.2.99 I think) = 4.50
3 Dove deodorant @2.50 (reg. 3.99) = 7.50
Total before coupons and SPC = 12.00
- SPC 10% = -1.20
- 3 S2WYUB2Different Dove products (3 *2.00) = -6.00
+ taxes
REGULAR PRICE WITH TAXES: (before sales/coupons/SPC) = 23.66.
MY TOTAL OOP: (after sales/coupons/SPC) = 4.95... good deal for a total of 6 bars of soap and 3 deodorants!
Savings = 18.71 (79% savings)
I also got the folding cot bed that they had advertised (good for when guests are over!) it was 99.97 and with my SPC card I saved 10% (10 dollars) on it... that card saves me so much money... hence my name (SPCFan409)

SPC card - Student Price Card... it's a card that basically has a list of stores that students (anyone with a valid student card and photo ID - even college/university students) can use and save a certain percentage... Some of the stores on there include: Zellers, urban planet, urban behaviour, burger king. It cots 9.50 to get but it lasts you the whole year (June to June) and the savings add up... take for example just on yesterdays trip I saved 12.20 just by using that card... it's not a credit card or debit card... just a regular card you show and you can pay whichever method you'd like.
Here's a link for more information about it: http://www.spccard.ca/
