Vileda Pro Mist Mop

I bought today the Vileda Pro Mist Mop today. RCSS has them on sale for $16.99 but I price matched it at LD as they have a deal that if you buy the mop they give you an extra detergent canister free. Use the $5 printable coupon from the Vileda website that you get once you play their Clean Up to Win contest and that brings it down to $11.99.

I tried it out when I got home and LOVE it! I have no more excuses not to do a quick mop anymore!

I have to agree with 4 children at home the vileda pro mist makes keeping the floors clean very easy!

I like it because you can use your own cleaners, too, or even just vinegar! Also that you can wash and reuse the pads. So much better than the swiffer variety.

For some reason I didn't see that insert coupon... darn, could have maybe stacked...
I saw the $5 Rubbermaid one (same type of idea - washable pad and use your own detergent)...
There were about 5 more on the shelf yesterday at the SP LD.

With this thaw and my black lab that has rediscovered the once snow laden flower beds, this has come in very handy today!

I found the insert coupon - exp. Dec 31, Save $5 on the combined purchase of a ProMist mop and refill. I think the refill is about $8? I'd pay the $3 for the spare mop pad. LD tomorrow here I come, lol.

The free canister thing was advertised in a plastic placard that was printed on one of LD's coupons. I don't know if this is an instore special localized to Sherwood Park LD or not?

If anyone needs the insert coupon $5 with the combined purchase of a Promist mop and a refill, 30003880, I have 12 extras, you can pick it up in the west end, I am 2 minutes away from WEM, no trade needed.

A tip with the Promist is to make sure you only use 2 TEASPOONS of cleanser; too much will clog it and you will find that the handle will not 'spring back'. I had this problem and Vileda's customer service said that 'you Canadians use too much cleaning product'(apparently, this is the number one issue for Canadian Vileda users) and I had to remove the nozzle and soak in hot water and vinegar to declog it. So I now only use vinegar and water to clean so I can avoid this from happening again.
