Bye bye Rachel...looks like everyone keeps their players.
Evacuation of a player next week!? Looks like it Paul...maybe?
I don't imagine it would be any of the other guys, as they are a fair bit younger than Paul, and David was in the preview mentioning "...this could be a good thing for me!"

Okay so ds2 and I watched and well when the 2 tribes were given the tarps, I said oh good grief, what are the doing, creating a bunch of wussies (not meaning to offend anyone) and then they announce the evacuation, well ds2 looks and says not wussies mom (ack).
Good episode and premiere.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I am curious to know where they took them when they were evacuated. Did they keep the tribes separate, did they feed them, give them a comfy place to sleep etc.?

Well, I hate to admit it but I really enjoyed the premiere. We pvr'd it and finally got around to watching it last night. When Jeff announced the Millennials VS GenX last season I wasnt even sure I was going to watch this season as I hate gimmicks and these themes are getting weird already but the family talked me into and I am glad they did.

I wondered about the evacuation too - I hope they took advantage of this and ate, drank water and slept.

From a marketing stand point the theme this season plays heavily into the social aspect of Survivor. Young vs Old, kids vs adults.
Yes, there is a fairly large age gap between the oldest and youngest players, but there were age gaps in previous seasons too.
Looking at the age gap at the cut off for youngest Gen X and oldest Millennial, there's only a couple of years difference between them.
I think the premier (editing) and this week's episode preview, did a lot to show that there was indeed a physical age gap, but at the same time, not necessarily a mental age gap.DANGER

What great timing for this article to come out.
Was in this morning's 24 Hours Toronto.
It's in a spoiler tab, in case anyone doesn't want to read about sneak peak, insider info from Probst!

If you weren't sure what Mari meant when she departed after last night's Tribal, or you haven't yet Googled it...
It makes complete sense that she used the term since it is mostly an online gaming term.

Both my players are millennials. I'm finding it so hard to root for the millennials. Gaaa.

I know what you mean, DaveP. Zeke seems to be a little more level-headed than rest of them. Of that bunch, he is the one I can relate to. I keep hoping the fluffy "perpetually-perky-and-age-16" thing from the rest of them is an act, or at least exaggerated for the show. *L*
