Thread: Independent Grocers - BONUS POINTS DAYS
-
Fri, Jun 24th, 2016, 09:46 PM #1
Just at Independent Grocers - they are starting new Bonus Point Days - Spend $50.00 get 10,000 Points ($10.00 value). For further clarification I spoke with the store manager. He explained that these events will be happening a "few times each month" and that these will be separate from the customer appreciation days (which offer lots bonus points per dollar spent). I asked about the use of coupons towards to total. So you can use coupons and they will NOT affect the points if they bring the total value under $50.00. Example: so if your total is $52.00 before tax and you use $10.00 worth of coupons bringing your total down to $42.00 you WILL Still get the 10,000 points ($10.00). they will be 1-2 day events. Combining price matching, using coupons, along with their current points program and now these bonus points days - this has huge potential for saving $$$$$$$. I am not sure if this will be at all Independent G. stores, or just some, or perhaps just here in Red Deer.

Where was the signs posted?? I never saw any signage about Bonus Points today ! spent $48.00 at red deer independents, would gladly spent another $2.00 if known about 10,000 points. That's like free $10.00. Im going back tomorrow. Curious to see if i will get double points, because I have a few really good pc point offers, and this would be an added perk to collect extra 10,000 points on top pc points. And already collecting points when i use my pc-mastercard. Wonder how these Bonus Point Days will be advertised? Thank you for posting.

sweet deal 10,000/$10.00 on $50.00 order. thats a 20% savings. hmmmm thinking if 10,000 per $50, if you spend $100 would you get 20,000 points? but if it is only 10,000 for orders $50 and above, then it's better to spend $50, get 10,000, then do a second order , then third etc. But will this be a one-time bonus points for member, because i would do a few orders. Another Question is how will they Announce the Bonus Point Events? Signs or Ads?
thank for posting.
