I've never seen a Pillsbury coupon and I've been actively looking for them. I use their cookie dough to bake with my niece, she's 3 and pre-made dough is perfect for her right now. I can't believe they were so rude about it when you wrote in to tell them how much you loved one of their products. There is a nice way to say no.

I was googling awhile back and found a website (which will remain nameless) and I loved it. So I sent a great email with picts to company just to let them what I thought of their site and they sent me booklets and tons of coupons. I didn't even ask for anything. So people PLEASE BE HONEST, don't go against your moral compass just to get freebies, if you look in the stores they are tons of coupons go to different stores. I do and have have a lot then trade or join a coupon train. Be considerate to the rest of us! Don't abuse the system. That's my 2 cents, out

How is asking if they provide coupons going against your moral compass? When I email a company it's to tell them that I love one of their products. I'll still buy and use the product even if they say no to the coupons, it's just a nice bonus that is sometimes given to thank you for being a loyal customer. If they don't send anything that's fine, I still made someone's day by being the compliment in the sea of complaints.

and with the world we live in....please don't preach to me about a coupon as a way of a moral compass
(and where's the moral compass of a company charging 3.69 for 6 granola bars....or $15 for a razor....or $10 for shampoo??)
I think we've beaten to death that no matter what we say in this thread, there are still lurkers, they will still email all the companies. We still decided to share anyways.
I just share because there are other mom's (and dad's!!), out there that maybe do like a product but just don't know whether or not they should email. It's a nice little thread to go through to see if a product you really DO like is worth that bonus little bit to send off that email (that you may have been procrastinating on)!!
It's an extra for both parties involved. Working in customer service it's nice to see a compliment once in a blue moon. Not just hearing all the people crab about how crusty the product is

Perhaps I didn't explain myself or my opinion to clearly, does that even matter probably not. Have fun with it, do what you want as I do in regards to emailing companies. Some people will try to take advantage of this that's all, perhaps I'm to honest and not trusting & that's my stuff. Just speaking my mind. It's my opinion that's all.

I had boughten some cheese that tasted funny at food basics, and then a month later i bought the same brand of cheese but a different kind at shoppers drug mart that had obviously gone bad, so i emailed Saputo, as my local shoppers drug mart didn't seem to give a rats ass.. and they sent me 3 FPCs. I told shoppers drug mart head office and they sent me 7000 shoppers optimum points for all the trouble i had gone through with the store trying to bring it to their attention and getting a bunch of lazy high school kids who didn't wanna help me at all. The head office told me i should bring it back with proof of purchase and get a refund, but after the last time i was there.. think we'll just call it even. It isnt worth the headache or the gas money.

A few questions...
When you email the companies do you ask for coupons or do they just send them to you??
I just went to the Aveeno website and wrote them to thank them about their product but didn't specify I'd like coupons. Do you all think I will get coupons in the mail? (they ask for your address etc)
Thanks!

i always have problems with Shoppers when returning stuff. If they can't put it back on the shelf to resell, they don't want to give the money back.
I flipped out about three years ago when i bought a box of hair dye. There was no instructions in it. So I took it back, and they said it was useless to them. I told them it was useless to me. The "manager" said I should've made sure the instructions were there before I bought it. Short of holding her hand......I took her to the shelf and pointed to the sign "PLEASE, DO NOT OPEN THE BOXES"
She grabbed another box of dye and photocopied the instructions in it, then shoved them in my box and gave it back to me!!!
I've rec'd over $1500 so far of Amazon.ca gift cards. All for free!
