Earning Points when spending points?

Does anyone know if I earn points when I spend points?

For example, I wanted to buy my DS an Xbox one

$319.99 x 1.15 = $367.99 - $170 (95,000 points) = $197.99

Would I get points on the $149.69 (this is before tax) that I would spend out of pocket. And what if I had a 20x the points offer, would it apply?

Yes, you would get points on the before tax balance remaining after you have redeemed points.
