and by that i mean,
will you get only one save.ca coupon? 5 maximum? as many as you can?
do you grab all the coupons in the store? or just a couple?
do you have a zillion and one email addresses and enter contests under different names?
do you email companies with fake complaints to get free stuff?
I know many people have different ways of doing things around here.. if you are comfortable enough telling us your style while doing your freebies/contests, that would be coolThis thread is currently associated with: Save.ca Coupons

I have 3 emails account- 1 is used for personal stuff i for contests and 1 for flickr only. As for save.ca I like the fact that they monitor your requests. Contests I enter once even for the daily ones no time.
coupons in the store I will usually grab enough for about 6 people for the next coupon train. I even give coupons away to stranger in store. No I am a very honest hard working individual!Last edited by jenna321; Fri, Aug 15th, 2008 at 12:30 AM. Reason: forgot the part aboyt fake complaints

I have four or five emails but they are all for different things, one is for freebies and contests, one is for msn, one is for facebook, myspace, one is for sending out resumes and college stuff and one that my sis made me when my one msn account was acting up and not signing me into msn
coupons and freebies I get what they say to get because I want to give everyone else a fair chance to get something before its gone, and I know a lot of people abuse it but I try not to, but I will fill something out for my mom or sister if I know its something they would want too unless it says one per household because then it could disqualify me from getting the freebie.
contests I enter my name and sometimes my sisters and moms depending on what the contest is for and if one of us wants it sometimes all three of us want to win something and if it doesnt say one per household i enter everyone

I really don't think its fair to order 20 or so items of the same thing, especially FPC because its not fair to that one person who goes to try to get one and there all gone.
Greed to me is not something I desire, neither is taking advantage of a nice offer by the companies. Especially when it comes down to changing your address, using different emails and ''tricking'' them. Im just not cool with it.

I only order from Save.ca what I will use, or someone else can use.
I take only a few coupons, what I figure I will use.
I use 1 email and enter as per the rules...maybe that is why I have never won anything..
when I email to complain, it is 100% a legitimate complaint. Please vote daily for my ferret site.

I like to order freebies for my Mom since she is back in Ontario and not very computer literate.
Educational freebies that I will not personally use, I order and give to my daughters grade school.
I have also ordered freebies for my elderly neighbours that I myself would not use.
So I guess I do order some freebies that I or my family will personally not use, but I have someone in mind when I am ordering it!!!
Random act of kindness type deal
Oddly enough, even though I post many contests, I enter very few of them

I order one...that's all I need. I will order coupons I know others may need.
do you grab all the coupons in the store? or just a couple?
A couple truthfully, but again I spread the love
do you have a zillion and one email addresses and enter contests under different names?
Absolutely not. That is just greed. Willy has entered some on his own, and if he wins...he wins. Very few are entered by Willy. It only takes one entry to win.
I have one account for contests, another for personal.
do you email companies with fake complaints to get free stuff?
Only legit complaints.

I have to admit that when I see someone offering 20X a coupon for trade it bothers me. I have personally witnessed someone taking a whole coupon pad from the grocery store. I enter a lot of contests but only in my name and only if I would actually use the prize. I apply the same principle to freebies. I don't mean to sound judgmental. I just know if I ever won a contest that I had been "creative" with i would totally blow it. It's the same reason I don't play poker, my face gives every thing away. Also if (big if) I win something I want to know I earned it.

On occasion I will order something both for me and for my mom, but only samples of things she likes.
I have several emails for different things.
I also have an email addy for my mom, and one for a friend who I order freebies for (they go to her address, the spam to this account). Sometimes, if I want extra entries into a contest, I will refer to those email addies. When I let go of any expectations of how a situation will turn out, I get to keep my serenity, and the situation turns out as it should.
