Wondrous morning.
Was out early in the north and back 40s doing work. All good. Veg patch going like mad.
Pruned some invasive octopi and threw them in the shredder. Just the smell is left but that will go in the morning breeze.
Not much on the agenda. Just a relaxing day.
Wife going to do her research at the university (never understood why you do a PhD in retirement! Too much work) and I will make lunch for her return.
So now just coffee and cats.

We sent Avon on her way this morning, wish we had more time together just to veg, but we kept busy for the few days she was with us; hope she was able to unwind for a while. The boat should be docking soon at Tobermory where she'll continue on her way home. I just hope the weather holds out for her...we still have a bright, sunny day, but it may get wet here, also.
