Morning, friends! I have to get ready for the Sing Song session. Then off to the Y with my BrotherR. Busy day. But a nice one.

Do you have one of those haunted house things for kids and grownups? Our DD and DH took their 11yr old son and his friend to the one here at Dynamic Earth and our DD said she was terrified! :yikes:The boys of course thought it was awesome! She said she almost used the safe word "pineapple" to be let out! I can't imagine it...I mean it's all fake, right? She said that intellectually you know that, but you're so disoriented that it gets very frightening....of course the venue states that this is absolutely not for young children. So strange....has anyone here been through something like that?
Well, this Halloween nonsense will be over soon, then on to Christmas!! Ho-ho-ho!!

Yup, it's really something here, we don't usually get snow which stays until after Halloween - that day is always a crapshoot, could be any type of weather and, thus, parents always have to choose/adapt costumes to it.
Thanks to those of you who passed along birthday wishes for our son. He said something interesting when he was leaving - that he really doesn't care so much about his birthday, not for his sake, but for ours - because we had done so much for him and sacrificed so much. Ah, my words don't give the same sentiment as his did!
My husband and I had made supper together, but husband bought a cake. It's odd how the home cooked meal is the favourite, because we have done so much eating out since I have been ill.
Bonus was that I could actually eat supper, real food, not much, but my taste level has gone up at least half. Hoping this continues to improve!
However, last evening I was hurting a lot, so I was a big party pooper - I don't like Milan to see me that way, when it's so bad...
Nurse came this morning. Vitals and lungs are all good. Leg continues to heal well.
