Another windy morning? Just more of the same. I had placed a smattering of Autumn decor out front on Saturday and 3 times since then I've come out to see my scarecrow had lost his hat, ( he looks hilarious bald! ) one straw leg was sent over the fence, his broom strewn about and he'd been blown over face down on the lawn. I put him back together each time, re-set him....thinking the entire time about the Wizard Of Oz Scarecrow......

Got interesting and important info from the occupational therapist wrt BrotherR's wheelchair. Now I am in the middle of a family conflict about how BrotherR is to get around.

Hi! Just saying... have a great Friday. It's sunny out there , but pretty cold. Ah, which coat to wear on my dog walks? I gave in and wore my winter-winter coat yesterday. Brrrrr! Of course, these Temps will seem balmy if we get them in about 3 months.😂

In last night's delightful game ( MLB ) the Yanks had their caps handed to them! ( again!!)

Yesterday I spent a great part of my day breaking down in tears...not even sure why Elijah Cummings passing hit me like that but it did. What a man! His record of tirelessly helping to change laws to protect disadvantaged people in society speaks for itself. R.I.P. Elijah ( look up the short poem he read when he was elected to Congress, the words have strength and wisdom )

Managed to do spin class even though my gout acted up. Resting for the rest of the day. Need to be good since I need to help all day sat, sun and Monday to help wrap up the election stuff. Hope I can walk by then. My extra cherry supplement seems to be helping a bit. Hope everyone has a good weekend. :)

Just heading for a nap, need to take some meds first. It's awful to have to down pills while nauseated.
Could not eat supper last night, all I could do was a few forksful of Caesar salad.
Today, an orange and, of all things, I had an urge for popcorn so had some.
Nurse was here just a while ago. The first thing she asked was how much weight I had lost, she said she could tell - she hasn't been here for several weeks.
She said the leg with the wound was doing well, but that it looked like raw ground meat - lovely...
Since she dressed and rebandaged it, it has hurt a fair bit so I need to go put it up for a while. I was up a lot during the night.
