@Lynn49 - gosh, I sure am trying. There are two things going on with the food - the first is that I mostly feel I just don't want to eat anything, or just can't. The feeling is similar to having a tummy bug.
Secondly, it's like things don't have much taste, not that they taste yucky (which had happened to me in the past). In those cases, am able to eat, but not much.
I get bloodwork done Friday - maybe something will show up there.
Hello, folks! My stepson texted me this morning that he was in Holland, Michigan with his dog Holland on their way to Canada today and would I like some company tonight and could they stay over. Well OF COURSE! Can't wait to see him. I'm still not entirely up to par, but you pull things together when you need to!
@Natalka - how miserable things are at the moment for you! Glad the nurse is coming today. Could you drink BOOST or Ensure? They might give you the vitamins and protein you need. Sending hugs (but not kisses- I wouldn't want you to catch my cold. 😉)

@Natalka, that's just awful, that business with food when you need nutrition the most. I hope your bloodwork shows up something that your doctor can fix...does she know you're not eating? Praying for a resolution, Nat.

Lynn, we may have started the day at the same temp, but we went down to stay at zero and got snow.
Yes, my doc, nurses, and pharmacist all know about the nausea/not eating thing for the past month.
A nurse came just before noon. She took off the Coband and bandages, and was so very nice and careful as she got closer to the bottom, so as to not hurt me. The blister had seeped more. She cleaned everything up (as well as washing and moisturizing my foot and leg - that's when you know you have a special nurse!), getting it ready to rebandaged. The blister was still weeping, so she kept the same type of medicated pads, did a full bandaging, with the Coband back on top.
Friday will be my next visit. Fingers crossed for good healing. My absolute nightmare would be an infection.
Tried a banana for lunch, managed a half because it just was bleh. Had about a cup of popcorn, that tasted good!
Will try nap, then hopefully I can find something to eat after that.
