morning all. @Lynn49 ...just a staycation...the to do list of house chores just keeps growing...and the roofers are going to be here to re-roof the roof...can i type out 'roof' many more times...? starting to sound like a pup...roof roof ruuf ruuf ruff ruff.

Seventeen Years ago today, I married my sweetheart. Miss him every day. We got married at a local ski lodge. Going to go for a little wander today. Tootie has to go to vet. Maybe another UTI. Also my step-daughter's anniversary today. Have a great long weekend!

Good morning, off to camp...it'll be nice on Monday when the 5 of us can get together again outside!!

how lovely!! @Lynn49 ....I mean that you have plans which involve being together! The weather should be gorgeous and I know for sure the food and beverages will be top notch!
@avoncallingu sweet memories of your Anniversary. Enjoy your long weekend, hope Tootie gets medicine for that possible UTI.
@danger_dan those to do lists/jobs that pile up come with home ownership. Preventative repairs can certainly prevent a larger job from rearing it's ugly head. Enjoy part of your stay-cation with some R & R.

I read that John Tavares was discharged from St Michaels Hospital this morning....resting ( recovering? ) at home.
I'll bet his head is still scrambled.

Did the grocery shop this morning. Last one was 6 days ago. For me that is showing great restraint! Fresh produce was in need of replenishing, along with redeeming 3 FPC's that were burning a hole in my pocket.
Redeemed $80.00 in AM at Metro and used $20.00 of PC-Opt points at NF. The real reason I had to go out was to fill the vehicle up for DH, so figured if I got dressed to do that I might as well head over to the stores.

@walkonby , tomorrow we can visit each other here! Yay! Back to playing cards with the kids on their deck tomorrow!

So our DD planted our hostas here after she and our GS stacked a cord of wood they had delivered to their trailer...tomorrow night will be a celebration of campfires!🤗

I'm so relieved that Tavares is home recovering and that no other problems were evident...thank God...I hate to see anyone hurt providing us with entertainment.

We did get snow overnight, not much. Southern part of SK has another warning out - some places got hit very hard with an ice storm.

Good morning from a rainy island this morning! Thank goodness for our new gazebo on our deck...with our awning rolled out to it, we can walk out our door and into the gazebo without getting rained on! Yep, still roughing it. 😏

I was off to a running start bright and early. In the oven are 1 very large steak and mushroom pie ( puff pastry topping ) and 2 individual ones. What a glorious victory the Leafs had over Montreal last night.
Go ahead Habs...challenge the goal...there was clearly no goalie interference, but ty for the extra PP.
Jays didn't fare as well.....oops!
