Good morning every1.
@avoncallingu - I'm so happy for you. :occasion14:
Good morning everyone.
Great news avon![Attachment 330265
oh boy......seems I have missed some great announcements.
Congrats to @danger_dan on your first home purchase!!
Congrats to @avoncallingu on the sale of your condo AND finding a new place so fast!
Happy ( early ) Birthday @cabmonk ! You are blessed with the loveliest Aunt.
The Jays pulled out a fun ( nail biter ) bottom of the 9th win last night BUT I was so aggravated by the Penguins win! ( I cannot even explain why I don't like Crosby, his face BUGS me! ) ha ha
Also disappointed by the Ducks quacking all over the Oilers in game 7.
sigh, I want Nashville to win the Stanley Cup.....ha ha ( traitor, I know I should pull for Ottawa ) but I want P.K. to get his just desserts after Montreal dumped him.
They are good and rested to take on the Ducks.
Thanks Walks!
I too, wouldn't mind seeing Nashville Win.
You are no traitor Walks. Nashville is my backup team. The Lady's BFF lives in Nashville. Her Husband and I are good friends too...They're like family, so it's not a stretch to say that Nashville is our second favourite team.
Good morning Fam.
Another busy day.
@walkonby Birthday is saturday so my aunt is just kinda lovely because she'd rather spend the weekend with her daughter. Lol Just kidding, :P of course going to sudbury to visit her daughter is more important. ;) I never expect anything on my birthday so it's nice when my aunt thinks of me like that. :)
Good morning, everyone!!
Dreary, drippy morning out there this morning, but since it 'never rains on a golf course', DH is out with his buddies golfing and likely sloshing around in puddles. It still so hard for me to believe how a year can change things...last year the 4 of them were so healthy, this year, one is close to palliative care, the other (the guy he's with this morning) has finished his first round (again since early winter) of chemo...damn cancer. They were always so active, riding bikes, golfing...then wham! Dammit.
On a lighter note, I'm back to almost normal today, so must get stuff done around here. Our DD and her DH have just left for Casino Rama to catch the Poison concert tonight (he gave her tickets for her b'day...I think she jumped as high as their ceiling!), then a round of golf tomorrow, then home on Saturday, so we have our Grandson! We're thinking of taking him to camp with us for the day tomorrow (they said it was fine to take him out of school for the day) IF it's nice. I don't need to be there this time of the year when it's drizzly. He has gymnastics today.....so...busy, busy!!
Quite the accident on the 401 near Kingston early this morning! 4 big-rigs, one vehicle, 4 killed in that vehicle...it seems that every single major accident on that 401 involves a big-rig!! So scary. And our Canadian banks have been downgraded by Moody's....I can't believe people take out 8-year car loans!! I mean....by the time it's paid off (double, probably!), it's worth nothing, AND some people still have payments!! The debt load must be crazy in his country! I guess everyone is keepin' up with the Jonses...??
Well, that's all the news that's fit to print...everyone: stay safe on the roadways to and from work, drive carefully and keep well wherever you are!
@Natalka, I see your Doxie, and raise you Kittens! :)

I should follow this up with an asterisk
***My Lady does not, in the slightest, like Mike Fisher...not so much Mike Fisher as a Hockey Player, but Mike Fisher the husband of Carrie Underwood.
She doesn't like Carrie, period...we both feel that Carrie is one just one of those puck bunny hockey wives...and she made him move away from a Canadian Team.
Something that is a trial can always have a good turn and make you smile later!

Lynn, glad you are feeling better!
Oh, such sweet Ragdolls! What a lot of people don't realize (and we didn't either when we had one born) is that as kittens they have a little smudge of dark on their faces, and that spreads as they get to a year or so until it's a mask over most of their faces.
It's sun-shiny out there now!! :)
@GoodBoy ...a good lesson to remember...and from a mouse, of course!!
@Natalka , I couldn't remember what they are called, but Ragdolls suits them beautifully; so interesting about that mask spreading. If and when we get one, though, it would have to be a short-hair...I just can't fathom fur-bunnies floating all over the place, and with my allergies to dust that would just exaccerbate the situation. Unfortunately the fluffier ones are so much cuter!
Off with DH to do a grocery run when he returns from a walk with Jenny..Have a good one, everyone!!
Just noted that I have accumulated 16 Starbucks rewards. Time to start using them I think! Need to make a Venti Vanilla Latté with extra shots and pumps of Vanilla. Should get the drink to around the $9.00 level! Now that is value!
