A quiet Saturday on here, I see. Mmm, that first cuppa coffee in the morning.
Our coldest day of the year so far, -31, thank goodness Hubby did our grocery shopping yesterday. Plenty of empty shelves out there, though!! -9 tomorrow.

Was out of the house before 7 am to take advantage of some of the PCO points offer at RCSS. I wanted to PM the Royale tiger towels that SDM have on sale lots of the shelves are empty. Couldn’t buy my older DD her favourite Greek yogurt because it was out of stock.
It’s very cold out. So bundle up if you have to be out and about
I am witness to that cold air out there! Good thing I adore wee Frankie because the reason I went out was to top up his worm stash. It's just too cold for words today.

Happy Sunday, rough night coughing most of last night, I had to use my rescue inhaler far too many times, but it at least gave me a few hours sleep between those coughing fits. Hubby suggested I get a nap in before the 3pm games start.
I'd be turning fire hoses on those damn protesters who are NOT the truckers, nor must they have jobs they have to show up for...just a bunch of slackers with nothing better to do then deface monuments and dance on the tomb of the unknown soldier. Just white trash! Shovel them out like trash!
It's too awful out there...even the orange guy threw his dumpy support at them.
I'm just going to turn off the news, watch football, and the Olympic games. Damn the word. Truly. It might be lack of sleep, but I think we need another flood and start over.

Talk to me about those empty shelves @Lynn49 ! I can't believe the gaps on the counters! RCSS is in terrible shape and that's my usual shopping destination. I'm struggling to find things to buy that everyone will be happy with. And the prices of produce!! I just can't anymore...
Unfortunately, the bare shelves are something I know all too well... And at least from what I have seen at my store, NOT because of lack of product... But lack of staff... For us on nights, it now can take up to THREE NIGHTS to stock ONE NIGHTS order, we are severly short staffed, and unfortunately, our day staff doesn't seem to pick up any of the slack (We aren't really sure what they do during the day), so it now can take us up to 3 times as long just to get product on the shelf, and by then, it becomes a hole in a day!Quote:

Yeah hear you on fruit and produce prices. I'm starting to buy more canned items but it doesn't replace leafy greens etc.
