He drove to the hospital to meed me there and to pick up our son. Son was waiting at the emergency entrance to get picked up and the ambulance wheeled me in. He was in total shock to see me on the gurney!

Anyway to make a long story short, i stayed in the hospital for 2 days, doc decided not to operate because it would be too hard on me. Put me in a walking cast and thats it. Since Aug 22. Ive had a lot of pain and cant get around much. Today is the first time ive been able to go downstairs to the computer.

Maxi's insurers have contacted me about the accident. So we shall see what happens with all this. I know im going to get some sort of compensation for their negligence. Several witnesses have come forward about all this. They have given me their names and phone numbers just in case, but the insurers have that also. Insurers told me it takes up to 3 years to settle cases but this is a clear casee
of negligence. And im sure they have cameras since this was at the service counter.

Happy Hump Day ladies! This picture of the toy camel reminded me of how much I used to crochet, also last night on an episode of Children Ruin Everything
( a hilarious show btw ) there was a pair of men's crochet pants in the story.....ha ha...... similar to this style.

@GoJays, men, eh? My Daughter and I have those discussions...they can be so frustrating at times!! That 'elevate' and truck one are ... okay, I have no words. :lolsign:

Oh, don't get me started on those "for new customers only" ads!! I called Hello Fresh because a coupon we rec'd in the mail had a code for free somethingorother, and I couldn't get it to work. Ah...says the customer service guy...'that's for new customers only".
I said, "SO!! HAVING been a customer before, there's NOTHING you can do for me?!"
I got a 1/2 price deal on our first two weeks of boxes (2 boxes, 6 dinners)...we rec'd the 2nd box yesterday and I cancelled.
I just hate companies that do that!!

Same with my Hubby and SiriusXM...up for renewal...mega bucks. Kick up a stink...really good deal. Squeaky wheels do get the grease, that's for sure. The number of times he's said, "I'm getting tired of this...connect me to someone who knows what to do about this." Works every time.

Not much going on, it's nice to be home and resting from the summer, I'm re-arranging closets, tossing, setting aside donations...very relaxing, lol.
