I never watched the NHL game ( so sick with this " cold ") but the Habs last, so it'll be the Canes and Vegas Knights!
The Blue Jays won 6-5 after being down 5-0 !! I laid in bed, darkened the room, took cold meds, cough syrup and a
few lozenges. Kleenex box within easy reach, eyeglasses off, drifted in and out during the game.

@walkonby I fell asleep on the Hockey game during 3 period . Yes now to watch the Final round between the Hurricanes and Vegas it should be a great series.
Hope you feel better soon . Guess a bug is going around lots of people I know are under the weather.

What a game! Lots of goals, but the Vegas Knights came away with the win ( 5-4 ) in game 1.
A heartbreak of a loss for the Canes fans as it was played in their rink.
no worries that I'm still up. It was double O.T. for game 3 and WHEW! The Knights came out with the win.....Marner got a hat trick......Vegas was ahead 4 - 0
at the end of the 2nd, then the Canes scored 3 goals withing 40 seconds! Tied it up in the 3rd. So yeah....it was such a GREAT nail biting, head shaking hockey
game to watch.

A post about hope. Maybe even a post regarding Prayers. I've been on a prayer chain courtesy of my
sis for months at her church so I truly believe a small miracle happened for me wrt my SSHL.
( profound left ear hearing loss ).
Short version of my journey: Did 18 HBOT treatments, had steroid injections in that ear, neither helped.
ENT pushed me to book an operation for a cochlear implant...I refused.
First Hearing Aid Clinic recommended the CROS system ( so expensive), basically saying no hearing aids
would help that affected ear. Second Clinic did their hearing test, results were promising and better than
any of the other tests. Specialist tried placing a regular aid in that ear.
Ya know those clips of wee babies hearing their Mom's voices for the first time with an aid? :bawling: Same.
I tried NOT to cry when the Audiologist and I had a conversation with the device in my affected ear.
Tears came because it's the first time since end of March I've heard anything on that side!
It's NOT perfect but it gave me such joy and hope and I go back get it on July 7th!! Halleluiah. :shock:
I'll probably feel confident enough to drive again. I know this is TMI, had to or I'd bust!
