@22hicks , thanks I just wish the pain wouldn't keep coming back but not as bad as a couple weeks ago.
Howdy, everyone!
Just back from camp, another lovely weekend with the added fish-fry and live band on Saturday, as well as a lecture from a Laurentian U prof who has a property on our street, too, on bugs and such that our Grandson thoroughly enjoyed. So busy, busy, but in a very fun way. However today turned dreary and damp again, so we left at around noon-ish for home. Had it been another sunny day we would have stayed at least through the day with the kids. Our DD will be home later today since she works in the morning, but not sure if her DH and our GS will stay there or return home today.
I hope @avoncallingu 's move went smoothly and that she's as comfortably set into her new home as is possible with all the boxes she'll now have to unpack.
DH is watching the Jays game so I think I'll head down there and do some reading while watching, too. Although Jenny is fast asleep on her pillow on the floor next to me and I hate to disturb a sleeping dog...:)
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone; hope you can all relax and recuperate, esp those of you who head out to work again next week.

Just stopping in momentarily. Move went great. Going to brother's for supper. Sadie's been fine but WOW what a thunderstorm is just ending. First time leaving her so I won't stay long- don't want neighbour complaints in the first 24 hours!
My poor brother (who will be my roomie) has developed gout. He had a terrible night. Other brother took him to the clinic today. He literally can't walk as this is his "good" leg.
Well I get hooked up with phone / TV / Internet tomorrow. Talk later. It's funny what you open first!

I know having pain is not easy. Both my feet are swollen after I walk my dog last night going to the doctor tomorrow to see what's going on @Lynn49 glad you are enjoying the summer weather at camp have a great evening everyone
@avoncallingu , happy that you've settled in so far, at least, more work ahead, but that box with the booze and glasses should have been the first one you opened! Really sorry to hear about your brother!! How is he managing in his own apartment like that? I hope he received good medical care...you probably have lots of research to do now....
