here we are soooo close to enjoying a mouth watering feast of roasted turkey and the fixins!! Darn it! I was having such a realistic dream this morning of the meal/dinner and when I woke up I was very disappointed that I still have all the work/prep to do before Sunday....ha ha
In this dream ALL the work was done and the table was set perfectly.
@Redneck Charger sure hope you can get rid of that pink eye infection before Thanksgiving. @flemeth , good morning...yes our Leafs entertained us well in game one! May this continue!!

Actually watched the Leafs' game all the way to the end! I haven't done that since I was in my teens when my parents watched hockey! Quite enjoyed it!
I see a run very soon on dried fruits at Bulk Barn...hahaha! I can't hardly wait to pick everything up!
It's packing day todayfor us, and for @avoncallingu, too. Us, off to CasinoRama with the kids, Avon off to visit @22hicks. And have her homemade lemon meringue pie! Wifout me! They promised to each have an extra piece for me. I'll know if they do...I'll gain 5 lbs through osmosis! Enjoy your visit together, Ladies...I know you two will feel like old friends in no time!

Almost all packed. Have you seen that hurricane that's now hit Costa Rica and the entire penninsula?? So happy our DD wasn't scheduled to be there now! Like @avoncallingu 's step-son, they both missed bad stuff by only a week or so!
Avon, I guess you and Hicks are whooping it up by now...brats. :tongue: I know you're both going to so enjoy each other's company!!

I won a $20 gift certificate for the Holy cow indian restaurant downtown. I was the moose FM comment of the day on facebook lol. They asked have you ever been asked for your id and did you feel bad or good about it. I said I've never been asked so I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Also my 90 year old grandmother was in pain one day and a 40 year old store clerk said wait till you get to be my age. Maybe she was trying to compliment her or be funny. However it made my grandmother angry and she was like Your age? I'm 90 what the hell are you talking about. ;)

Hahaha...well that clerk, Cabbie, must have needed glasses or your Grandmother took very good care of herself!! Something similar happened to me at the hairdresser months ago...we were chatting with another gal there, aches and pains, and she said to me, "Wait until you're 60!", and I said, "I wish!! I'm 67!" Yeah Lynn I'm often mistaken for younger than I am by a few years. When I was 18 people thought I was older lol. They mentioned my name on air and everyone always mispronounces my name but I'm used to it. I'll check the restaurant out maybe next week or the following. It's a little pricey though so $20 doesn't go far but is still good. I'll probably take a personal combo for $14.00 and maybe something to drink. :)
