Good morning all. Hope everyone is feeling better who are under the weather. Woke up very early this morning so I decided to do some baking . Now I have to find some family who would take some of the bake goods off my hands Don’t like to waste electricity so I always make sure my oven is full when baking. Made some carrot muffin, Blueberry muffin.and some oatmeal cookies, and peanut butter cookies. Will be watching TV all day. Have a great day everyone
Good afternoon folks! Finally got to church this morning. Got to deliver a couple of things that will be used for the silent auction at our Tuesday Pancake Supper event. The freezing rain had started when we came out. Going to have to decide later about whether to venture over to BrotherB's house for supper. Weather will determine. They are ripping their kitchen apart this week. On to renos!
Have at least a thousand bananas in my freezer so I might make some banana bread-I am inspired by Flemeth but also want to catch up with a couple of wedding couples.
Tootie has decided that freezing rain is not to her liking so she won't go out. She hasn't eaten today,so no pill yet.
I can't wait to move forward with her crate training as she decided to pee in the hallway before we got home.
I put together her new crate together on Friday night and my hands and fingers were killing me after.
She did not like the idea of entering a space where she might be locked in. I am very aware that she spent very unhappy years locked in a crate. So I put her dish inside and she was willing to approach to about 18" away. Afterwards, she did sniff at it. -Baby steps.
I'm going to try to entice her again with "friendly" smelling things and some food.
So-yes-that IS 3 goals for the afternoon. Tootie comes first because, if we go for supper we'll have to leave her again.
