I have decided to join horders-anonymous. I am finding Sooooo much paperwork that should have been tossed years ago. Like my dad's final income tax file. He died in 1999.
But I can't find the two years info that the accountants are asking for. She also wants proof that I was my husband's Power of Attorney. Well, I found the paperwork naming him as mine but not vice versa.
I did take some clothes in today to be altered for my trip. The kind lady actually talked me out of replacing 3 zippers. One she just worked on until it came loose. This was good as she said it would be $40 to replace the other two. She did some very nice work for me in the fall, too.
Getting my hair cut tomorrow. The purple shades that I put into it in January have now mostly gone. I desperately need a cut. When I start looking like an old order Mennonite lady with my hair pulled back, it's time for a cut. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get into this salon, though. Good recommendations from 2 of my friends.

As for Trudeau, he's off his rocker!! So hen-pecked with his "women everywhere!", and now removing someone's ability to disrespect ME by calling me Mother, or Mrs.?! Where can we dump him and when?!

Had a nice surprize yesterday when my son popped in for a quick visit after work; he wouldn't stay for supper, though, he was too tired - still has a 45 min drive for him to get home.

Another day, another step towards summer!
My quilting friend should be heading back north pretty soon.
In fact, all those "Snowbirds " will be making their migration back in the next month. Lines of Ontario plates at the border.
There is a pair of Canada Geese that are staking claim to a marsh spot just beside one of our intersections near the grocery store. Apparently they did the same last year and then held up traffic when they escorted their little ones back and forth to the stream on the other side. Don't mess with ababy-guarding Canada Goose!
Well, up I get. Cleaning helper is coming today. Oiy! The circus begins.
Lynn, don't poop yourself out with your preps. Dan, glad your drive was ok. Flemeth - thanks for always "calling in " the day.

Very few of the games are on TV despite Rogers owning the team and Sportsnet. I can't explain it. We have to settle for watching other teams on the Chicago channel or the New York channel just to get our baseball fix. I haven't checked regularly, but so far I've only seen two Jays games this spring. And so far, Jose doesn't have a team. The problem with him is that he wants a contract that no team is willing to give his given his age.

this was perfect timing....DH and I were pondering about Jose as well last night as I had not seen him attached to any team yet. I know one place he will never be signed is Texas!! bwahahaha!!!

What kind of annoyed me is that in the Metro flyer starting today is a 4 day offer with the very same thing!! ( redeem 95 AM, get back 50 ). How silly is that? Why run 2 similar offers at the same time?
I used the Mega Miles coupon to do my redeem because I wanted to be guaranteed that this would be counted as my 5th Mega offer.
Then I asked the cashier if I could now do the in store offer redeeming another 95 AM, but she said she was sure it would not work because the flyer stipulates you can only do it once per day per collector number.
Rats to that eh?
It was not all bad though, I earned an extra 9 AM on 3 items that were loaded to my card this morning on the Metro site.
( 1 dozen eggs, a single Cliff bar and an .89 cat of wet Whiskas portion ) This is the first time I have used this since they changed it from having to print off coupons.
I also grabbed a litre of half and half and a discounted loaf of sour dough bread, making my OOP just .75 after the $10.00 came off.
Funny how just a bit of this and that out this morning made me feel sleepy, when I got back I almost dozed off watching the latest on CNN.

Hahahaha!!! Oh, @walkonby...how timely! My DH just annouced from the living-room that he must be entering his second childhood, as he now absolutely requires a Kia Stinger that goes 240km an hour, and that Fittipaldi endorses it! I laughed and said it wouldn't take long for us to get to NYC and he said he wondered how many speeding tickets we'd get and I said, "No worries, we could afford it." hahaha!!! Oh, the power of commercials!!
So our DD invited us over for a tibble of wine (red for the boys, white for us) for her b'day today, and we just got back..what a lovely visit. Too cute....she asked our GS if he was going to wish her a happy b'day this morning and he said, nah, we're not having her b'day until tomorrow. Haha. Kids, huh? Go figure. I did call her office this morning and sang happy b'day to her. Her assistand bought her a sweet necklace and took her for lunch, and the office brought in cake and sang happy b'day. It was an all-around great day for her.
Well, bedtime for me...DH is watching college basketball...but I think my bracket's collapsed.
A big day tomorrow with her b'day dinner.

Made it into the City in record time today.
Friday commutes...don't mind them so much.
Going to try and finish up the paperwork asap today, maybe head home a little earlier.
The Lady wants to do a bit of shopping and our groceries on the way home so it doesn't eat into our weekend...
We're painting the Kitchen, Mud area, Powder room, and Laundry room this weekend...FUN! prepped with taping and moving everything non-essential out into the office area last night. So tonight is patching and fixing some areas that need a little TLC so that we can be off to the races tomorrow morning.
Anywho...how 'bout those Leafs? laid a lickin' on the Preds last night...first place who? LoL

Good luck with the painting, Dan. We haven't done any for a few years now. For awhile there, we were painting something every spring. Are we finally happy with the colors on the walls or did we just get too old to do it so often? I unwillingly vote for option 2.
