Good afternoon! I've been up since 8 a.m. but the kitchen needed my attention first thing and after that I needed a rest. lol.
It sounds like thunder boomers going on outside right now, but turns out it is my neighbours large recycle bin rolling about noisily on the cement every time the wind hits it.
Since the winds are high today I am not driving anywhere.
What a glorious Blue Jays game it was last night!! That " whistle " the White Sox like to blow was sure silent after the first few home runs we hit and then it was clear by the 8th inning that they would not recover from a 14-5 shortfall.
Does anyone else LOVE that hip swivel dance that Solarte does?? ha ha

Was a bit snowy here too but more windy. People here keep whining like they have never seen snow before in the spring. My response to them on facebook is almost always are you f**ing new here lol. By the end of April we should start getting fairly steady warmer temps and through May it will get better.

We didn't get a lot of snow (so far) - but OH that wind was perishing! (As my mother would say.)
Had a nice long talk with both my step kids today and got a "tour" around my Grand-daughter's room. She thinks I can see through the phone. I am the odd one out with no I-phone.
Well, the furnace crisis turned out to be an embarrassment more than anything.
Someone who was helping my brother move used the bathroom and turned the furnace switch off instead if the light. (That stupid switch is in the weirdest place.)
I didn't think to check it.
Apologized to my landlady and offered to pay for the furnace guy's call. She said not to worry.
Cleaning helper comes tomorrow. It should be much easier for her to get to the parts that need cleaning - and less of a circus without Bennie the cat hiding from the vacuuming and taking flying leaps at Tootie.
Need to snooze off.
