Good morning everyone @danger_dan I agree with everyone on how to handle this situation. Coopers is now your fur baby and it’s you and the your Lady call. Them coming will only confused Cooper. The need to let go of him . Hope it all works out in your favour without you being stress. Have a great day everyone

Update on the situation with Cooper's previous family:
I did end up sending a very sternly worded message yesterday.
I clearly outlined the agreement which was signed (a pre-written agreement, printed from somewhere online, of which both parties have a signed copy) and the fact that a visit is in no one's best interest.
I noted that any correspondence to date had been as a courtesy, and that I had been in no way shape or form obliged to send them anything.
I know they received and read the message due to the time stamps shown with iMessages, but no further communications from them.
My wife told and some others told me that the message I sent sounded like it was written by a lawyer and had a touch of harshness to it, but that it was perfect, since it needed to be said.
...and as for the possibility of them coming out on their own (since they do have our address, as a part of the agreement) my Wife and I had that chat. I was fully prepared to call the police if I had come home yesterday (or any other day) and they were anywhere near my property.
Great job Dan! Proud of you :) And hairy baby doesn't know it but he thanks you. I would call the police and tell them your situation, find out what your next course of action is. Let them know that there is a potential for a phone call in the future, but hopefully it doesn't come to that. Just make sure they actually will come out if it comes to that. Best to have all your bases covered.

Home care nurse came yesterday - she said wounds are healing, it's hard for me to tell because they still hurt. I can tell the swelling is down, though, in the feet. She will come back tomorrow.
Sciatica is still being just a bugger.
Well, my husband came home from work injured yesterday. He had already gone to the doctor, but came home to see me before he went to emergency. At work, they were working on a bay and a guy was knocking down a wall with a hammer. A two by four went flying through the air in a really bizarre way, apparently, very fast - my husband was working in a corner, doing his own electrical business, but he got hit in the right temple. Said he didn't see it coming. Wasn't knocked out or anything, just a lot of bleeding.
So he needed either stitches or glue at emerg, so he went for the glue.
Oy, what next?
