Happy Friday!

Wow it is one degree out, rain and snow on the way. What a way to usher out summer!

Milan came over yesterday for a visit and supper.

At school they are doing something very dangerous, working with hybrid vehicles. I had no clue there was so much danger for mechanics repairing them. I forget the number of volts that they could get, but they have to wear three different types of gloves, special headgear/facemasks. The creepiest thing is that the person working on the vehicle has to have someone standing behind him with a giant insulated hook on a long pole, to pull the person away from the vehicle in case something goes wrong.

He said on top of each page of instructions there is a big warning that there is danger of death. Oy! Geez!
Just hoping everyone is vigilant, what a learning experience!


All that is on for me today is someone coming from a lab to suck out some blood from me...

good morning!! ( oops I mean good afternoon) I 've been up since 7 a.m. but out early pm-ing a few things. I am still stunned at paying just $1.88 for 10 lb bag of gorgeous clean new potatoes. 3 lbs ea of carrots and onions for .88 and shrooms as well for .88
Did anyone else get that weird double sided FPC coupon that was in one of the inserts?
NF allowed me to get both the Iams kitty food and the Uncle Bens Bistro Express as the mailing address was the same for them to recoup.

It is unbearably sweltering hot out there right now, so glad I ran my errands early. @Lynn49 hope the plane you are in is not quite as animated as the one you posted!! hee hee. Hoping Jennifur puts her dukes up against DD's cat while you are gone.

Hello folks! End of a weird weather day. We had a massive wind event go through about 4:3. I was just outside to take Tootie for a walk. The wind triggered a never-before experienced in my life, asthma attack. I didn't have my buffer, my phone, or any ID on me. Believe me, those forty yards back to my apartment were very scary until I got my puffer. I was really weak for the rest of the afternoon.
Have been resting . The weather has been causing havoc all across the province, as you probably know. I have never had wind trigger an attack before.

Feeling much better now.

I have an outside wedding tomorrow. I hope the weather is ok.

Sounds like @Lynn49 is having an excellent time.

Ch- ch-ch- illy start to the day. Welcome fall! Prayers go out to all those affected by the terrible tornadoes yesterday. I guess, thanks to global warning tornadoes "Aren't (just) in Kansas, anymore, Toto)"

Good day all. Yes it’s very chilly out today. Yesterday was another story very windy and hot. Today when I was out my gand was cold. Yes Mother Nature can Please us. Turn off the AC and open up the windows this morning now the house is super cold. Have a few errands to run today. . Have a great day all

Chilly here, too, but we got snow again - at least it all melted.

Good assessment from my nurse this morning - pulse was 50, BP perfect, lungs clear, and it seems as though the infection on my leg cleared up. Plus I lost a pound and a half since Tuesday - goodness knows how, I had a hearty appetite this week!

Sad to see the devastation in the Ottawa area.

Good morning all. @Natalka over all the nurse give you some good news. Hoping it keeps getting positive. Another chill day here DD was here for a concert last night she is going back today it was nice to have here home even if it was for a day. Will be spending my Sunday reading since I have a library book that is due next week. Have a great day all
