Hoping all the early birdies ( talkin to you @GoJays , @flemeth and @danger_dan ) busy busy bees that you are have found some down time at work, or at home. I have been up and indoors since 8:30 this morning.
There was no need to go out, the weather was meh? and the garbage/food waste bins would have had to be moved so I could drive out, then placed back in their spots....just too much effort.....

Just another day in retirement paradise!
Got minor things done today, but did roast 2 chickens and freeze them. Got a parcel ready to be mailed to Denver. It will never get there by Halloween, but it will have to do.
Filled in a very detailed online application. But haven't quite finished. Describing all the things that hurt gets you thinking.
Also tried to order a couple of things from online stores. Got SO frustrated! By the time I got all the stupid things filled in and then lost them a few times, the darned item was sold out! Then I got the royal run-around on another site and finally gave up.
Well, before I lose this, I will wish you all goodnight. We had wicked wild weather here today! Horrible black clouds -wind and downpours followed within minutes by bright sunshine and repeat. We even had that icy rain stuff with the funny name -gorp or something.
I am going to see Man of LaMancha tomorrow -using up a very old gift certificate. It's starring Alex Mustakis who is behind all the Drayton Theatre stuff. This production is in Cambridge.

Nope, @danger_dan , once I'm up, that's it for sleep. I'm into my 2nd Keureg coffee and DH just got up and is making a pot.
We're off on a road-trip with our DH a bit later; she has clients in Little Current who want to see her berfore they leave for Florida for the winter, so she asked us if we want to kerp her company on the trip...sure! She also has to go to our campground to take some lot measurements for a new park-model trailer they're looking at buying. So...busy day!

Have been up for hours, bummer. Not a great night for me, but at least I have been moving already this morning.
Husband came home yesterday mid afternoon from work, because a guy was supposed to come check the furnace and water heater. Dude called later that he couldn't make it. So today will be another try - he better show up since my husband is leaving work early again...
We are getting up to 15 degrees today, so very nice!
