I sure love being busy to Natalka ..but sometimes were kept to busy with our daily jobs .. then all volunteering ..we just neglect our families and our own selfs too .. wont give up volunteering ..unless i get sick or something happens to my health ..hope pray it doesn’t..hope you feel lot better Natalka..take good care yourself sweetieQuote:

Oh, thanks for the reminder re: school Remembrance Services. I hope to get over to my nephew's school for theirs. My BrotherB works there too. My choir director has been invited to sing with a choir in Ottawa this weekend at a cathedral and at the war museum. Their choir sang at memorial services in France last summer.
The Spaghetti Dinner was hardly gourmet but it raises money for our church. We do have some very dedicated volunteers. I bought some "Sticky Buns" made by the renowned "Sticky Bun Queen" and some butter tarts, both of which I need like a hole in the head! Oh, the Sticky Bun Queen is also the Crochet Queen. I saw a pattern for crocheted baby booties which I thought might work well for my little Tootie. She said she would try it for me if I get her the pattern. Sweet lady.
I managed to buy 2 Groupon tickets to a concert in London by Lynyrd Skynyrd in March. It was one of my dh's favourite bands. This is their "Farewell" tour. I got to quite like their music. Asked my BrotherB if he wanted to go but it's on Tuesday night and he's not interested. Other BrotherR would enjoy it, I think. None of my friends is particularly interested in Southern Rock.
Well, we have our first interview tonight for the ministerial position -by SKYPE as the person lives far away. If we continue to be impressed, we would pay for the person to travel here for a second interview if we still had another impressive candidate.
It's going to be a cold day but no snow yet.

Wind-chill of -28 here, and that is supposed to dip down yet to -31 before smartening up and having the thermometer go the other way!
Our normal for this time of year is zero, so yeah go go global warming!!!

Ours just stopped falling. Not too much accumulation because it was very wet, but it's still there on the roofs of houses.
