Love it! Good night, folks!
Also another thing that happened. My cousin just turned 17 and a few days ago her boyfriend broke up with her. It was her first ever boyfriend and I think she took it very hard. I sent her a message on Facebook Messenger. I hope it was good, I'm always worried I say the wrong thing or shouldn't have said anything at all.
This is what I said below and she said thanks..
Hey Ema, sorry about your boyfriend. I know it can be hard. You're a strong Young woman and I know you'll find the right person.
Good morning @GoJays
A very cold here today.
Good morning @GoJays , @flemeth and sleepy heads!
I couldn't sleep past 5 this morning and finally made a coffee for myself at 7. We have a dr's appt at 9:30 and it's terribly cold out there! Mild days for a week, but our appts? Today? -18!!!
I want to drop in to a jewellry store in town that's been locally owned since forever.. my Dad always bought my Mom her crystal jewellry sets there...and she and I used to love shopping there; it'll be sad to see it close. I'll call our DD when we're there to meet us there if she doesn't have a client.
So toodles for now! Stay warm out there!
can this week be over already...
first full week back after holidays is so hard...
Good morning everyone. :hello:
I was not one of the sleepy heads today I was busy making fresh pasta early this morning ....." DOH! " ha ha... get it?
Good morning, folks! I'm avoiding getting up since the wind-chill is supposedly -23!!!!! But poor old Tootie needs to get out soon. Had a decent sleep but this bed isn't the most comfortable. Feel a teensy bit better this morning. Trying not to be over-enthusiastic about planning to do things. Have to fill in those travel-cancellation forms today, though.
So, bundle up folks! Enjoy your Jan. 10.
-23... yikes :yikes:
I think our current-14 is bad enough.
Thought I posted here last evening, but I presume I have hospital brain....
I got a room after 5 yesterday, in the oldest part of the hospital, four to a room. However, I have been in others which are smaller between the curtains, so there is at least room to do stuff on either side of the bed.
Supper and me literally passed one another in the hall, so my husband brought me a late supper. I had to go through all the admissions stuff, so food waited. Never knew a totally cold meal would taste so good. They don't allow patients to use the nuker any more - infection control.
PT came this morning. I stood twice. Really badly, but I was up. Second time I took a step back with each foot, that was torture. But I did it!
Later in morning, I got standing once more with the nurse.
That's progress, @Natalka !! Keep up the great work; I know how hard it is, but literally...one step at a time..:)
@Natalka I am excited that you are making Progress. As Lynn49 said one step at a time. . You will get better and better each day.
