I'm so sorry my friend for your loss,I cannot imagine what you are going through.I'm glad to hear that the Celebration of life was so meaningful to you and I'm sure many others.
The love and care of the SC family is evident here.I just want to add my voice and let you know that you and yours are in my prayers.

Thank-you to everyone. I have been rushing around doing all the follow-up things. The insurance company wants to know the names of every doctor he has seen in the past 5 years- and why- I am already on page 3 and I haven't finished - points out, if I needed reminding, what a battle he fought.
I'm going to Chatham today to scoop up our little doggie who hasn't been able to live with us since October. She'll have to get used to riding the elevator again to go for her constitutional. And I will get some badly needed exercise!

Gosh it was so nice being with you again, although the reason for our visit was such a sad one...how are you coping this morning, Avon? How ridiculous wrt listing those doctors, and what a waste of time! Honestly!! People who have lost their loved ones need time to grieve, to get their feet back under them without various companies asking them to jump through hoops and wade through paperwork! Why on earth should they have to know of every single doctor a person had visited?!
I was chatting about this very thing with our DD, who does a lot of this for her clients, and she said someone is missing a very profitable opportunity in not opening a business solely decidated to doing all the paperwork that loved ones have to deal with after someone passes away. She may be right....this has got to be a terrible time when all you may want to do is hold little Sadie and catch your breath.
