The Apples & Cinnamon Super Grains version has flax seeds-irritating like poppy seeds or sesame seeds. I can see this cereal version being used to make cookies-just reduce how much sugar you use in the recipe.

Both the Apples/Cinnamon version and the Coconut/Honey have 210 calories per serving. Apples/Cinnamon has 15% of one's daily iron needs while Coconut/honey has 10%. Imported cereal.

The quinoa is obvious-vaguely straw/bland flavour! Did not notice the barley much unless it was masking the quinoa. (Yes, I had one package tonight to get an idea of what breakfast will taste like.)

Packaging indicates presence of sulphites.

Fortinos had two Super Grains and two Steel Cut cereals on the shelves.
