I believe many members here have shopped at amazon . If you ever bought grocery from them, you may notice they actually charge tax on the items which are supposed to be tax-free ( like rice, crackers, can fish , cereal etc ) .
If you are one of the " Victims " , you can join the Consumer Law Group to file a Canadian class action against Amazon for the collection of undue sales tax. Here's the link ~

Interesting. I know the US Amazon just recently had to start collecting state taxes in four more US states.
So many rules about taxes in Canada for food and drink!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
