    Last night I convinced hubby to quick run to Sobeys because their Asana yogurt had 125 bonus points on it and I still had 2 FPCs to use before December 31st.

    This is what I got:
    -2x Asana 4.49 (FPC!)
    -1x Kashi SALE 3.29 (-25%) -$2 coupon
    -1x 5.2 lbs ground beef at $1.49 ($7.72)

    TOTAL 19.17
    -10% student discount on FULL AMOUNT! (-$1.97)
    -coupons (-10.98)

    GRAND TOTAL 6.55
    -paid with GC from Club Sobeys points PLUS earned 269 Club Sobeys.

    **I figured it out with the Bonus Points on the yogurt and the overages I got from my student discount, they paid me $1.45 to take each Asana yogurt out of the store.

    great brag - i love sobeys bonus points. Not so much their prices but if you can match an item with a coupon/fpc and a bonus pt coupon it can get you quite a bit of free stuff.

    Sobyes has other ice cream on this week for $2.99. Our local Sobeys, (Rivergrove in Winnipeg) is driving me nuts. They just added a large section to the store and they have increased prices in every department. The generic dog food went from $4.99 to around $8, the juice I buy went from $1.99 to $2.59 and the list goes on. I really try to buy only sale items as much as possible now. I hate being gouged.
