i received the cheques from pc debit that i ordered.. but the numbers start from 1. they don't continue the numbering from my last batch of unused cheques (i.e. i would have a chq #25 from before, and a chq #25 from the new batch i just ordered). do you think i can still use the old cheques? thanks in advance.

it still says PC financial but it came from a different mailing address (i compared the sender addresses on the cover)... it's not simplii (no logo or name of it). i keep forgetting to call them to ask.. another family member got the same thing too... i had ordered them online.

I was hoping to close up shop with cibc and move fully to PC now. We will see how simplii fairs, but cibc is a fee monster.

The change from PC Financial to CIBC Simplii is coming up soon.
If you have PC points linked to your debit card only, contact PC Plus to move your points from debit, before the change over.

I finally called PC and the rep says I can use either PC cheque books even though the cheques # are the same. if anyone else can confirm this, please do let me know. i would hate a cheque getting bounced because of something like this. thanks.

Wondering whether to move the funds out and close the account or let it be and let it roll over into Simplii.

I don't see where it says to move the points off debit. I am sure there is no way my teen will make this call. He works at RCSS so has lots of points. But I think his points on on his pic card not his debit. Maybe I will just take him with me for groceries and then use his points up and give him the cash.

DH and I both earn PC points using debit. I got each of us a red PC Plus card and added one per account. You only have to add the plastic card and the key tags get automatically added too and they go by a different number (which is confusing). I have already tried swiping my red card and all my points (earned using the debit) appeared on the cashier's screen.

@Grey Thanks, he works today so I will let him know. He has 19000 so it would be a shame to lose it.

I would assume that in my situation for debit points I am fine. I have a PC Debit AND Credit both linked to the same PC Plus account, so It will just redirect all through my Credit Card come Nov.1. If anything else happens though, I will be very upset.
