Notary for documents served
Hi, I am involved in a smalls claims court case I am doing myself. This is my first time and hopefully my last time. I have given the small claim documents to the person I am suing. Apparently I now have to get an "affidavit of service" sealed by a notary public. I am running the case myself so of course I don't want to spend lots on a notary public. Is there such a thing as a free notary public service? If not, anyone know of a cheap notary public in the Whitby or Oshawa area? Many thanks.
