    Anything and everything Halloween!

Last year was crazy for us, we were selling and buying houses and Halloween didn't get the attention it deserved.
This year we have a great place to decorate and I have been fantasizing about decorating it since we signed the deal lol.

I want to decorate spooky, but not too spooky for the little ones. I need a fog machine, Maybe a heavy duty one. Any tips on one would be greatly appreciated

@anisa , if you are in the GTA/Hamilton area, there are Spirit Halloween stores that cater to all things Halloween. Website even shows fog machines. https://www.spirithalloween.com/cate...017&utm_inex=i

I only get 10-20 kids on Halloween, and I live in a middle-class neighbourhood in the suburbs. Parents in the area said their kids act entitled and don't want to walk around collecting candy......young millennials in training.

I'm going to be keeping an eye out for deals on Lightning simulators, fog machines and deluxe tombstones this year.

If I can get a decent enough deal before halloween, then I will buy them, otherwise I will wait for clearance sales.

We have a creek that runs along side our house with a green belt. There is a good amount of trees I would love to play lights off of. Plus we have three 100+ yr old Oak trees in the front yard that I need to figure out decorations for.

I have so much that I want to do!

    First purchase of the season...

Brought this handsome guy home with me.

I can find similar sized skeletons online that are posable, but they are in the $90-$125 price range.

There was only one of these in the store so I grabbed him at full price.

Sorry the Pic links aren't working. I don't use the forum app on my phone, because one extra app... :/

Anyways, I bought a white, posable skeleton for 39.99 from Walmart which is pretty decent... BUT bought a very similar skeleton from Home Depot that is black in color and has light up eyes! Same price.

Now I was thinking of returning the Walmart one, but I could keep both right? lol

I want the skeleton to sit on a bench on our front porch, along with some black plastic rats. I think that will look oki dokes.

I love Halloween ! I miss not being in a house and greeting the trick or treater's. I still decorate my apartment, but it's not the same. I used to spend hours carving
intricate faces on my pumpkins and making the house look haunted.
I'll also never forget the SDM Cadbury large chocolate bar offer that gave you more points back than you redeemed lol as well as the Nestea iced tea cases for free.
I gave both out at Halloween and was the most popular house on the block.
