So I went to home outfitters today and bought a new 10 piece Lagostina pot set for $149.99 Reg $499.99.
I had to go to the mall where sears is and everything is now 60-80% off.
Well the pot set I just bought was Reg $599.99 and reduced to $239.99 at Sears! smh

The Sears in Halifax NS will close January 6th, and good thing because there is nothing but absolute garbage left.

Will see if a trip out to Eastgate Square or Mapleview Centre is in the plan this Friday.
The store website is updated with most recent discounts. When I looked at Ontario stores, I saw that the Lime Ridge Mall location is closed. https://www.sears.ca/

Went to the Sears in North Bay ON yesterday, their last day is Jan 8. I went to look at winter coats and got a really nice one, 60% off. The had quite a bit of womens' and kids' clothes, some shoes, a very small amount of home decor items, and a TON of frying pans! Piled up all over all of the make up and perfume counters. Crazy! Also a few different kinds of cooking pot sets, I think I'll go back Saturday to see what's left of those.
Might take some pics of the store then too, if I can

ahahah....at pickering town centre there were tons of frying pans too!!! that was basically the only items left in the kitchen section. they were crazy expensive even with the 60% discount so no wonder it's still left. PTC sears is closing mid-january. sign said 60-80% off, but most items were only 60%. tons of women's and men's clothes left. no toys left.

After the stores physically close. Watch out for SEARS unsold merchandise at nearby small independent mom & pop type of stores or flea markets etc.
The SEARS liquidators often sell them in bulk/wholesale to these small stores for cheap the leftover stuff.
A small clothing independent store in a strip mall near my house was selling nice ARROW men's dress shirts for only
$ 12 . All of them still had SEARS packaging & tags etc on them. He got them from the SEARS liquidators, after the store closed to the general public & they could no longer sell to the general public . So he bought huge quantities from them at wholesale & now sells them in his store at a reasonable mark up.
I mean if the price is good, even you can buy stuff in bulk & later on sale on Kijiji or Ebay etc as brand new unused stuff from SEARS. You can maybe make reasonable profit doing that. Or you might get stuck with useless stuff..ha ha.

NORTH VANCOUVER I'm hoping to stop at Sears on Saturday when I travel from my small town to Vancouver for medical reasons. Is it worth my time stopping in?

I've actually seen a couple of women's sweaters from Sears with size stickers still on the fronts of the cardigans and sometimes the price tag at Value Village recently.

North Bay's last day today, I went about 6pm. By then there were maybe ten racks of womens' clothes left, mostly small and extra small. The signs said everything $1.50 but by the time I got to the cash they'd dropped it down to $1 each. Shoes were $2 each. Makeup 75cents. Bras $1.50. Some stationary and pens left, and kids' clothes but I didn't look at that stuff. Everything for sale was in the middle of the store so the rest of the store was very empty and sad looking. Interesting too though, before sears was there it was walmart and I remember what it looked like inbetween those two when it was empty.

Closed in NB. Got a new power recliner chair, sears regular price $699. Got it for $150.
Figure it's probably actually worth $300.
