In haste to get on the road for an overnight trip, I left the bag containing pjs and undies at home

Lol, I recently had a work trip and the second I set foot in the hotel I realized I did not pack pjs. A quick trip to winners and I found the perfect pair and they are my faves.

One time I was sent to a small town in northern BC on such short notice from work that I didn't even have time to go home and pack a suitcase. When I phoned my adult daughter to let her know, she said "You're in luck Mom. They have a Field's and a Saan store so you will be able to get everything you need!" I had to laugh.
