    Its fashion jewelry, meaning it holds no real value other than the price that one is willing to pay for the looks of the item. To put it into simpler terms, you're buying what amounts to a plastic candy ring.

    The link the OP provided showed rings and bracelets that were 18kt gold for 60 percent off... I didn't see any cosmetic jewelry...
    And it states 60 percent off all 10 kt, 14 kt & 18 Kt gold, diamond, gemstone, pearl and cubic zirconia jewlery....

    Gold plated or trimmed doesn't mean anything. Neither does cheap gemstones and flawed diamonds. Its a tough subject to understand if you're not educated on the quality of the product in question.

    Well they had some really nice 2 ct $5,000 dollar rings there and I don't believe they were gold plated. Since your so educated in jewelry can you please tell us how you came to your knowledge that the Bay only sells fake cheap jewlery?
