In Ontario, if your No Frills price matches Loblaws, you can combine Loblaws' price of $1.99 for 10lb Farmer's Market white potatoes with No frills offer of 500 points per bag. I also had a personal offer of 200 pts per $1 spent so I got 400 more points.

I suspect the algorithm sends some of the free product offers to people who only occasionally shop at Loblaws, both to get them in-store where they might buy other things as well as to encourage them to keep shopping there at least once in a while and maybe even somewhat more often..

I got the free Tide offer too at Loblaws. I've only received two free offers ever from PCO, the other was back in July for free No Name Large Eggs also at Loblaws.

The funny thing is I go to Loblaws to cherry pick their ending in 4 deals. Not sure if they want that kind of customer. Their discount on short dated meat is 50% while No Frills and RCSS only discount by 30%.

I'll be back on Oct 11 to see if Loblaws has cheap turkey after Thanksgiving. I got $1/lb turkey from them after Easter.

It was late Sept to mid October last year that some PC Opt members were getting one or more free items via the program. So hurrah on your freebie!

My friend was miffed that her few freebies (one to three per week, for three weeks)did not continue as long as other who had ongoing weeks of free products.
