Hi,

Ing direct is having an $50 Bonus offer for anyone who open a no fee bank account with them before Dec 31st, 2011. Here is the link: http://www.ingdirect.ca/referafriend/

When you first sign up, you will get $50 Bonus. Then, they will give you an orange key, and you use this key to refer your family/friends. Then each of them will get $50, and you will get $50 as well for each referral because you referred them. So, at the end you get $50 for each referral, and each family/friend get $50.

Ok, here is the details on how to get it started. It is a no fee chequing account. All you have to do is open an online chequing account with them, and you will need an orange key in this step to get the bonus. You can use my orange key in my signature below. And then send your self a cheque of a few cents or $1, so they can link your online chequing account with the bank account that you write your cheque from. (The same idea as pay-pal) Then you can transfer money from your online bank account to the bank account that you wrote your cheque from, and then withdraw the bonus. They do need you to have a minimum of $100 in your online bank account in order for the $50 bonus offer. But, you don't have to keep the $100 there forever. You can keep it there until they deposit the $50 bonus into your account. They usually deposit the $50 in about a 1-2 weeks. So, basically, you just need to have the $100 there for about 1-2 weeks, then you can transfer it out with the $50 bonus back to the bank account that your wrote your cheque and withdraw the cash. The $50 bonus ends Dec 31st 2011. After that, the bonus is $25. So, yes, you still get bonus after Dec 31st, but it is a bit less. When I signed up, I only got $25 bonus. After you have an chequing account with them, they will give you an orange code and then you can use the code to refer your families and friends and get bonus for each referral. I had my family signed up and I got $150 bonus already. They have a limit that you can earn up to $2500 from referral. They also have high interest saving accounts and very good mortgage as well. If you open an account before December 31st with $100 dollar deposit you and I both get a cool $50 bonus to our accounts. Also, if you create a Chequing Account and link your pay checks to it by the end of February in 2012 you get a $100 bonus.

Already opened an account, sent the cheque next day delivery and the bonus was put into the account. After that there are no holds on the money (the bonus, while the $100 is on hold for 5 business days according to ING policy) and you can take you money back without a problem electronically. ING offers the ability to easily transfer money between your bank and them it all works out perfectly in the end
