Okay, this might sound dumb. I saw my totals going up, but wasn't sure why (besides the obvious ones) and then realized that I have a referral! That's someone signing up under me?

Also, does it work in the reverse? If I'm searching, do they get points?

First congrats on your refferal! But no they don't get points when you do, it would be great if they did.

If they are friends under you they do not earn pts for your searches...but if you registered with SwagBucks under someone else's referral they benefit from your searches...its all up to a maximum of 100 pts a person

Same here ...my first swagbucks friend hasn't searched even once. It's really too bad that you have no idea who it is that signs up under your referral, cause i'd love to be able to offer help to them if it's needed.

Here's a lesson:

Once you get your codes for Amazon GC or for anything... put it directly in your Amazon account or whatever that code is for.

A lady on facebook, had more than one account, one for her and one for her husband and.. the husbands account got deactivated. Apparently, the husband's account had like $300 in Amazon giftcards, but he didnt apply it to his amazon account.

She went on rant about how Swagbucks is a scam and they stole christmas from their children.

I'm pretty sure, the husband will get his account back..but come on..

People should read the rules before they do or sign up for anything.

Anyways thats all i have to say...
