I found the code. It is only just after 9 now, but when I enter it into the box in "my account" is says it is expired already. Am I doing something wrong?

This is the first time I have been in time to find a code, and it won't work! Blah!

Do allllll of your searches at swagbucks.
Get your friends to register under your referral link, only if they use it a few times.
Check this thread for codes/code help!
You can trade in old cell phones for swagbucks.

be prepared to stalk swagbucks/SC for codes 24/7

But seriously, just make sure to do a few searches a day and get at least a point or two, and look out for codes that usually come every other day or so. the points really add up (I've gotten $15 in Starbucks cards, that's about enough points for $20 Amazon.ca) in the past few months just from doing that (and that's with no referrals, all just me searching). If you want to go faster, then get active referrals - whenever they earn a swagbuck you'll earn one too, up to 100 points.

Nothing to know, really, except a few searches a day for free stuff is always good

spread out your searches - don't search too often too quickly, or you'll get the rules page, and if that happens often enough, you could have your swagsbuck account deactivated

don't post codes in the forum, because if swagbucks finds out, you could have your account deactivated

be sure you are the only person in your household that is registered - more than one person registered from the same ip address could get your account deactivated

check their facebook page every so often, and their blog, as those are typically the first places a code hint is posted - and codes sometimes expire quickly, and sometimes they're good for a few hours - so it's best not to delay when you find a code hint

codes are sometimes case sensitive, so you have to watch for that

to enter a code, go to your swagsbucks account page, and there's a box on the left side - enter the code, and click "gimme"

It's very possible that someone posted the swagcode somewhere and The Swag Guy found out. If the swagcode gets posted, they remove it right away.

@martenswd - Prepare to be bombarded with useful advice from every SCer that sees your post! Maybe pick someone who doesn't have any swagbuck friends yet .(I've got a bunch so don't use my link)
