Got it There were 31x cameras at the Dartmouth NS store, and 32x at the Halifax, NS Old Navy store. They opened at 5am, and I was there shortly after 2am (crazy.....but I was cozy ad warm). The manager even came out very early to tell us how many they had....that gave people a change to drive (fast) over to the Halifax store for a second chance. They were also giving out 30x coupons for a free fleece blanket (after you spend $40). I had a coupon for Spend $50, Get $10 off...so I used that also. Plus the cash register screwed up and I got the GST (5%) back ..... weird because we pay HST (15%) in NS.

I managed to get up extra early and get one. I think I was 12th in line. Good deals!!
One lady tried to get in towards the front of the line but the people in line told her to go to the back but instead of going to the back she tried again to get in towards the middle and the people there never said again and she snuck in! I can't believe someone would do that! Its not fair that people who waited hours before stood there and this person just budded in line in the last few minutes.

Where I was the manager came out early and told us how many they had (48) and that if there were people who tried to bud in line at the end of problems they would call the police. She told us to look at the people who were ahead of us and behind and if anyone tried to bud in to tell her and she would have the person removed. At 6:30 when she gave out the bracelets there was still some left. Once I had my bracelet I went and sat down for a bit until the store opened. It was really good, much better than the other time I went to something like this.

I really hate people who try to bud into a line. So one person who legitimately stood in line was out a camera. I got one. And we didn't have a problem with budders... our store at Bayshore had 40 cameras... so even those that came after 6:30 ( time she was handing out the bracelets) they still got some. We had about 30 or so in line. Definitely by 15 mins to opening all the bracelets were gone.

Last year, a woman tried to bud into line but we wouldn't let her in. If she had gone straight to the back of line she would of got one of the last bracelets. She wasted time trying to bud in line... other people joined the line. So she didn't get a camera... was second after the fact. KARMA!

I was reading the comments on Facebook....people who didn't get a camera were quite mean... sour grapes. Just because you couldn't find out what time the store opens on Xmas Day... you should of checked earlier when stores WERE open. Just because you see the cameras stacked on the counter does not mean you can get one.... no bracelet no camera. So what if you arrive 10 mins before opening... other people arrived way earlier and it is the early bird that get the worm ahem camera. Do read the small print...one per household, extremely limited quantities, having to make a min $40 purchase, etc. Old Navy doesn't have to do this. Each store is giving away several thousands of dollars of merchandise.

The Dartmouth NS store manager also came out and spoke about cutting in line and that it would be dealt with. Not one person tried to cut in. Also the "No saving spaces" rule was in effect....if you left the line, you lost your spot. No one dared leave, so when the store opened, there was a rush to the bathrooms

Some people are just stupid. One lady came back to the store complaining she never got a camera. The staff asked her where her bracelet was and she said "what bracelet?" Moron. She never even had one...she just arrived at the store after everyone else was already inside.
