It's a fine idea, but in terms of practicality, there would seem to be a question as to how it would best be implemented so that the current offers are always easy to find. If it's necessary to look back through pages of posts to see if a particular deal is still active, that would decrease how helpful the thread is.

Good idea thanks maybe as arjon suggested keep track.of any long term deals on the first post I think most would be subject to the weekly flyer

Maybe this thread can be about anything gift card related so that it can be bumped up enough for when there are actual deals. For example, can I get Opoints for buying a shoppers drugmart gift card and then use that gift card to buy a gas card?

Earning base points for buying SDM gc at Shoppers? No points since the switchover.

Hi I was at shoppers today and bought a few gift cards and the lady refused to scan my PCO card my kids was with me and was upset at me because I told her it’s her job to scan my card she was like but you will not get any points I said I do t care I want my card to scan and she had to in the end.

Did you get points for the SDM GC?

This is in the air miles thread. Sobey's indeed is having a good gift card offer as part of their mega miles.

Click for details as they may vary for different provinces. In Ontario you buy one at $150, get 150 airmiles and you can do it 4 times. These can be used at FreshCo which is cheaper than Sobey's. March 16-18.
