soooo, In the Metro flyer starting today they are running a 4 day promo of redeem 95 AM get 50 AM back, Pretty decent right?
However....I was using today to turn in my Metro Mega Miles coupon that I had printed off the site ( it only runs over 3 days 22nd-25th ) and it seems to have worked o.k. The coupon does not have a bar code to scan, the cashier has to type in a special code...I forget now PLU?? something ) so I easily got the 50 AM back, it shows up on the receipt.
What I was wondering IF anyone has done just the regular promo at Metro today without using the Mega Miles coupon, does the 50 AM show up on the receipt? The cashier was under the impression that with their in store flyer promo you don't see the 50 AM on the receipt but it gets deposited in a few weeks to the AM account.
If anyone knows post and let me know.

I also did the offer at metro and used the coupon and showed 50 points after using $10 cash miles, but I was worried about the mega miles not showing up because all it says is bonus offer 50 miles no promo code or anything but if both of us had the same result it must be ok I also talked to a couple cashiers about it and they thought it was the coupon on there because the store miles would show up later

I don't think that's correct. For Shop the Block promo I made an online purchase at Stples and it counted. You have to make sure to use the coupon online. Who told you it doesn't count?Quote:

I just went to rexall, and tried. I had $55.00 before taxes, used the $5.00 coupon and the cashier scanned the megamiles barcode. On my receipt it says I earned 42 airmiles. I redeemed 285 points, hopefully i will get the bonus 100AM. Do you know what it said on your receipt to indicate this bonus? Is it ths load + go bonus? Another question not related. i went to metro yesterday to redeem my 95 airmiles, but she automatically put in the bonus code for the megamiles (i did that claim Thursday already). so now it looks like i tried to use the megamiles twice! does that mean i won't get the 50 bonus for redeeming?
