I've lived in apartments for the last nine years, and I've never had a problem getting freebies (pretty much the entire time). Sometimes -- if the freebie in question is on the large-side -- you may need to pick it up at the post office, as you would with any parcel or large envelope that doesn't find in an apartment-sized mail box, but you should be fine!
Happy freebie hunting!

Its frustrating when they won't send to a PO box.... its all I could get to collect my mail when I moved! Its not fair.
Never had a problem with an apartment though, just make sure you type/write/tell the correct apartment number.

A way around the po box problem, is write general delivery, I've been doing it for years, works as well for sellers on ebay who won't ship to boxes. I don't know what the hangup is on po boxes...makes no sense to me.

Yep, most dont to be honest. So when people flip out and caall complaining because they dont get their mail. Yet, they expect us to know who you are when no name, or address half the time. We actually get people who put Grandma & Grandpa General Delivery and the postal code (you know how many Grandma & Grandpas we have in our route).
