I'm also always grabbing books at garage sales; it's one of those Forrest Gump-type adventures where you never know what you'll find. I remember being around your daughter's age and voraciously reading every book in the house - I recall one summer where all the staff at the library knew me by name as I was trading in books on a daily basis.... or as often as I could get a drive into town to go to the library
My most recent book (be warned - it's not very exciting) is Judith Butler's "Bodies that Matter: On the Discursive Limits of Sex" - I am reading it as I analyze identity and gender for my thesis... It's a challenging book for me as I struggle to understand what's going on sometimes when I read Judith Butler's articles. I liked Gender Trouble though, so I am hoping that I can make it through this one ...or at least figure out what's going on enough to be able to talk about it at my defence - whenever that is!

On Boxing Day I was already at the mall so I bought the first two volumes of Sailor Moon. I used to be really into the show when I was really young, so it's fun to get back into.

Bought DH all the Eragon series for Christmas.
The kids got 6 Dr. Seuss books and some Sandra Boynton.
I usually just get mine from the library. Just finished reading The Future of Us (jay asher). It was a cute teen novel. Super quick read but interesting idea for a novel.
