I'm fairly new at the gluten free lifestyle (Dr & Allergist recommended).
Hit me up with your best buys!!!! I am finding bread and flour so expensive!
Where are the best deals for gluten free shopping? Online or local ( I am in eastern Ontario-Ottawa area).
I'll post finds when I find them!
Thanks! This thread is currently associated with: Shoppers Drug Mart

I tried a few Gluten free products in the past but due to the taste I couldn't continue, guess it all comes down to what you have been putting in your mouth and now you can't go back.

I'm gluten tolerant and don't have any trouble having it. Thanks to my immune system, less burden on my pocket.

My choices for best:
Snack crackers:Small, but I can still spread them with cream cheese, toppings, parmessan strips (nuked)...they stay crisp...buy them at Costco for a big saving over natural foods stores!!
Snack bars:...huge, almost lunch with a cuppa tea!! COSTCO!!
Bread, white sliced: Aidan's (might be tough to find there) http://aidansglutenfree.com/products.html

Yep! Thanks, @walkonby ! Sorry, no idea why the pics didn't show up! DH also mentioned they have 'beet' crackers in the same brand...he'll pick them up for me next time he's passing through Costo or he's bored and heads up there anyway.

As mentioned in the July Frugal discussion thread, the current issue of Sage magazine (freebie in natural foods dept of Loblaws/RCSS/Fortinos stores) has a Bob's Red Mill coupon on p.8 for $1.25 off products. Every bit helps in saving on the brand's gluten free items!
